What the Calcenzo privacy policy covers

The policy applies to pages on this website: the calculators, the file tools, the guides and the contact page. It does not cover other sites we link to, such as government agencies or reference pages cited as sources. Those sites have their own policies.

Numbers you type into a calculator

Calculators run in your browser. When you enter a loan amount, a weight or a date, the math happens on the page you have open. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not save the inputs or results to a database. If you close the tab, the numbers are gone.

Files you open in a file tool

The file tools (subtitle converters, calendar validators, bibliography converters and similar) read your file inside the browser. The file is not uploaded to our server for processing, and the tools do not send its contents to an outside service. Downloads such as a converted file or a report are created on your device. On a shared computer, clear the selected file and close the tab when you finish.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, optional page URL and message you enter. The form delivers that message by email so we can reply. We use it only to answer you, fix a reported problem, or keep a record of a correction. We do not add you to a mailing list.

To slow down spam, the form keeps a short-lived marker based on a scrambled version of your IP address. It expires after one minute. The raw address is not stored by the form.

Server logs and cookies

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs help with security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.

Ordinary visitors do not need cookies to use Calcenzo. WordPress sets login cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Analytics and advertising

At the time of this update, Calcenzo does not run analytics or advertising scripts. Some pages contain space reserved for ads later. If we add a service such as Google AdSense or an analytics tool, we will update this page first. We will name the provider, explain what it collects, and link to its own policy. Where the law requires it, we will also ask for your consent before those cookies are set.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. We share it only when needed to run the site (for example, our hosting and email providers) or when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

Contact messages stay in our mailbox for as long as they are useful for the conversation or for a correction record. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete messages you have sent us. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, such as objecting to certain uses of your data. Send the request from the address you used before, or explain how we can find your message, and we will reply.

Children

Calcenzo is written for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

When the way the site handles data changes, we update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always the one at this address.
