Magnetism Converters

Magnetism converters change magnetic quantities between SI and CGS units, which often appear side by side in older textbooks, sensor data sheets and motor specs. The magnetic flux density converter switches between tesla and gauss, and the magnetic flux converter handles webers and maxwells.

For field and circuit quantities, the magnetic field strength converter covers amperes per meter and oersteds, and the magnetomotive force converter covers ampere-turns and gilberts.

Each page lists its supported units with their values in the SI base unit, plus a worked example. Flux density (B) and field strength (H) are related but not the same quantity, so check which one a source means before converting. Related electrical units, such as inductance in henries, sit with the inductance converter in the electricity group, and the SI prefix converter helps with milli, micro and nano values.

Magnetism Converters has 4 free converters, including Magnetic Field Strength Converter, Magnetic Flux Converter and Magnetic Flux Density Converter. Pick one below.
